We are seeking an experienced Project Architect with 5+ years of experience to lead project teams and create success for the client and Schooley Caldwell. Creativity and collaboration are at the heart of your work.

Your Role
  • Responsible for leading a project team through the coordination and delivery of project detailing and documentation
  • Oversee the work of designers and intern architects
  • Responsible for coordination of engineering and other consultants
  • Contribute to all aspects and phases of the architectural design process
  • Assist in creating project schedules and budgets
  • Knowledgeable about building codes, construction techniques, as well as building materials
  • Attend and often lead project meetings
  • Establish and nurture client relationships
  • Participate in professional development and mentorship roles
  • Participate in marketing/business development efforts
  • Desire for professional advancement
Your Qualifications
  • Licensed architect with current registration in the State of Ohio
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in all phases of architectural projects
  • Knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and building systems
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (Revit) and AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of architectural billings
  • Considered a leader with the ability to mentor and help others grow professionally
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and have excellent verbal and written skills
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and have the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Interest in adaptive reuse and historic preservation
  • Experience with the State of Ohio, other public, and civic projects
