Berardi + Partners is seeking a Senior Project Leader to lead and coordinate architectural projects from design through construction. This role works closely with Project Managers, Project Executives, and Partners to deliver high-quality projects on schedule and within budget while mentoring junior team members and maintaining exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities- Support Project Managers in delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate project teams, consultants, and project tasks.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Monitor work quality and productivity of assigned team members. Design & Documentation
- Participate in programming, design development, presentations, and renderings.
- Conduct code research and coordinate with engineering consultants.
- Prepare and oversee construction documents in accordance with office standards.
- Ensure project drawings and consultant documents are accurate, coordinated, and complete.
- Implement zoning requirements, building codes, accessibility standards, and project specifications.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to Project Leaders, Project Coordinators, and Intern Architects.
- Support staff in meeting project schedules, budgets, and quality expectations.
- Assist with bidding activities, addenda, RFIs, submittals, and change documentation.
- Participate in field observations, contractor coordination, and punch list reviews.
- Support clients throughout the construction process to ensure project success.
- Assist with project scheduling, staffing, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate communication among project team members and consultants.
- Maintain accurate project records, meeting notes, and documentation.
- Accurately track and report project hours.
- Experience leading multifamily, residential, commercial, or mixed-use architectural projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Revit and BIM standards.
- Strong background in construction documentation and consultant coordination.
- Experience supporting projects through construction administration.
- Passion for architecture and commitment to professional growth.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, specifications, and construction documentation.
- Ability to work independently while effectively leading project teams.
- Corporate Office is based in Columbus, Ohio (satellite office in Cleveland, Ohio)
- Schedule:
Full-time (40-hours/wk) - Travel:
Regional and national travel may be required, travel is covered by the office standard travel policy
Salary and accrued paid time off will be commensurate with relevant experience. Benefits include 401(k) with company match after first 6 months and health insurance after the first
30 days. Additional add-on options include dental, vision, short/long term disability, and life insurance.
