Position: Physician – Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon - Body Contouring (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

Overview

Physician – Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon - Body Contouring (Open Rank/Track Faculty) at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center. The Department seeks a full-time, Board Certified/Eligible Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon to lead the body contouring program.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To provide safe, high quality patient care
  • To provide clinical and didactic education to learners of all levels
  • To adhere to all other duties and guidelines of the Department and The Chair as assigned
Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Successful completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency Program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery
  • Experience and/or a Fellowship in Body Contouring Surgery
  • Eligible for an Ohio Medical License

Department/Institution Overview

The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seeks a board certified/eligible plastic surgeon to lead our body contouring program. The department has 20 full-time faculty, 5 faculty at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and 10 community faculty, with a tripartite mission of clinical excellence, research, and education. The residency program includes 26 residents and 4 fellows across multiple pathways.

OSU serves central Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky as a referral center, with care across multiple hospitals and ambulatory sites.
