Locum Gastroenterologist needed near Columbus, OH.

Work Details:

• Target start of 4/2026
• Shift Details: 7a-3p + night beeper call M-F + 24 hour beeper call on weekends

  GI coverage for Level 1 hospital
• Hospital Bed size: 434 beds
• Patients per day: TBD
• Patient Population/Age: adult
• EMR: EPIC
• Requirements: BC, OH License or IMLC, DEA, ACLS, Special Exam:
  Moderate Sedation: at initial appointment must review educational packet for Moderate Sedation and complete session post-test with at least with at least 80% accuracy. Must provide proof and maintain current ACLS
• Credentialing Timeframe:

• $500 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
• $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + travel + A rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.

Special Procedures:

• ERCP required (150 in the past 2 years)
• Esophageal or Duodenal or Luminal Stent Placement (20 in the past 2 years)
• Performance of history and physical exam
• Argon plasma coagulation
• Biopsy of the mucosa of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, and colon
• Colonoscopy with or without polypectomy (must provide documentation of performance of 100 within the past 2 years at initial appointment and 150 at reappointment)
• Diagnostic and therapeutic esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
• Enteral alimentation
• Esophageal dilation with balloon or bougie or savary with guidewire
• Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, including foreign body removal or polypectomy
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Gastrointestinal motility studies and 24-hour pH monitoring
• Nonvariceal hemostasis (upper and lower)
• Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy
