Job Title: Physician – Endocrinology, General Endocrinology (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
DepartmentThe Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center – Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
Position OverviewThe Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism is recruiting an academic general endocrinologist to join the clinical track. The role emphasizes patient care, instruction of medical students, residents and fellows, and basic or clinical research.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients with endocrine disorders, with a focus on thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer.
- Perform thyroid ultrasound and fine‑needle aspiration procedures.
- Offer e‑consults, inpatient consults and other patient‑care services.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in general endocrinology.
- Engage in basic or clinical research relevant to endocrine and endocrine‑related disorders.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification or board eligibility in endocrinology.
- Eligibility for academic appointment at the assistant professor, associate professor, or professor level.
