Liberty Ophthalmology (Powell, Ohio), in collaboration with Mid Ohio Eye, is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Ophthalmologist to join our respected and expanding team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work primarily within a thriving private practice environment at Liberty Ophthalmology, with occasional clinical coverage at Mid Ohio Eye to support patient needs and ensure continuity of care across both locations which are physician owned.

This position is ideal for a well-rounded ophthalmologist who values high-quality patient care, enjoys working in a collaborative multisite setting, and is looking for long-term professional growth within an established community presence.

Revenue for the joined practices for the year 2025 was +4 million, with the ability to grow substantially.

Role

Description:
  • Provide full-spectrum comprehensive ophthalmic care, including routine exams and management of ocular diseases.
  • Perform cataract surgery, including advanced IOL options and refractive cataract procedures.
  • Would prefer but not required: the ability to do LASIK and PRK procedures, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
  • Diagnose and treat ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, dry eye, and other anterior/posterior segment disorders.
  • Collaborate with optometrists and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Willingness to learn and provide Botox for the patient population

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Medicine, Ophthalmology
  • Experience with Laser treatment techniques
  • Expertise in various Ophthalmic Surgery procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Active medical license to practice in Ohio
  • Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards
