We re actively recruiting a dedicated Primary Care Locums Physician for a full-time, on-site position at a well-established outpatient clinic in Columbus, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to serve a complex, underserved adult population in a mission-driven, patient-centered setting.
Position Overview:
Start Date: Must be available within 30 days
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
Setting: 100% Outpatient Primary Care
Patient Volume: 8 10 patients/day; rotates to cover same-day clinic
Call: Shared weekly rotation; low volume (6 8 calls/week); phone only, no in-person or hospital/SNF rounding
Patient Population:
Adults 16+, primarily underserved Medicaid population
High acuity: multiple comorbidities, addiction, and behavioral health conditions
Supportive team-based environment focused on outcomes
Requirements:
Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Ohio Medical License (unrestricted and current)
DEA License and comfort prescribing opioids
Minimum 2 years full-time experience post-residency as a board-certified physician (telehealth/residency does not qualify)
Experience with addiction and behavioral health strongly preferred
FQHC or Community Health Center background preferred
