Department

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a Thoracic Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience. We are currently interviewing candidates for all shifts and remote/hybrid opportunities are available for the right candidate. Weekend and holiday coverage is limited and equitably shared among faculty. Traditional in‑person, 8am – 5pm coverage Monday – Friday for both part‑time and full‑time positions, no evening or overnight call responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plain film radiography and CT interpretation; no cardiac or aortic CTA responsibilities.
  • Contributes to day‑to‑day clinical operations of the Thoracic Imaging Division:
    • Provides high‑quality patient care related to the Thoracic Service.
    • Contributes to clinical and imaging operations related to the Thoracic Service.
  • Education, Training, and Faculty Development:
    • Provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings both within OSUWMC and at regional and national levels.
    • Collaborates with faculty and leadership to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
    • Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty.
  • Research and Scholarship:
    • Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
    • May serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and/or clinical trials.
    • Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent research and innovation interests.
Job Requirements
  • M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Radiology (A , ABOR).
  • Completion of subspecialty fellowship in thoracic imaging by time of appointment.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Must support and embrace the diverse and inclusive culture of College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University.
