Physician - Pathology, Hematopathology (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center.
The successful applicant will participate in bone marrow/lymph node, fluid/coagulation, and flow cytometry diagnostic services; take part in resident and medical student education; conduct productive basic, clinical, and/or translational research; and collaborate with a world‑class Hematology/Oncology division. The College and the Wexner Medical Center have an expanding NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center, an active bone marrow transplantation program, and a high‑volume case load across numerous affiliated hospitals.
Requirements- MD or DO or equivalent
- Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Pathology
- Subspecialty in Hematopathology
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
Clinical Faculty (regardless of rank):
Persons with titles of assistant professor‑clinical, associate professor‑clinical, or professor‑clinical. They hold an MD, DO, PhD, or other terminal degree and focus on clinical care, teaching, and/or research. They are appointed for terms of three to five years and may be reappointed.
Tenure‑Track Faculty (regardless of rank):
Persons with titles of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or have obtained tenure. Their primary focus is research, service, and teaching, with possible clinical involvement.
Research Faculty (regardless of rank):
Persons with titles of research assistant professor, research associate professor, or research professor. They hold a PhD or other terminal degree. Their focus is research and they are appointed for terms of one to five years.
