Physician OBGyn Complex Family Planning Specialist Section Chief​/Track

Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Complex Family Planning Section Chief to lead the CFP program and expand clinical and research expertise.

• Lead the Complex Family Planning (CFP) program and extend the department’s clinical and research capabilities.
• Supervise the resident family planning rotation, including an early pregnancy management clinic, a dedicated contraception clinic, and operative experience at an ambulatory surgical facility.
• Participate in the faculty practice, gynecology teaching service, and medical student education.
• Collaborate with the College of Public Health and the department’s reproductive epidemiologist on research initiatives.
• Provide leadership within an academic department.

• Board-certified or eligible physician (MD or DO) with fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency training program in OB/GYN.
• Ability to be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Ohio.
• Current registration with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration).
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
