Department

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an academic family medicine physician to join the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

Position Overview

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking full‑time, board‑certified/eligible family medicine physicians. Our department currently includes 83 faculty members, 6 fellows, and 27 residents, and offers a diverse setting that includes sports medicine, occupational medicine, integrative medicine, behavioral health, and health services research. Family medicine practices are part of Comprehensive Primary Care Plus and are staffed with dietitians, behavioral health specialists, social workers, pharmacists, medical assistants, and nurses.

Opportunities range from 100 % outpatient to a variety of responsibilities depending on experience. OSU offers competitive salaries and benefits commensurate with qualifications.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of Family Medicine residency training
  • Board Certified or Eligible
  • Eligible for State of Ohio medical license
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience
