The Columbus VA Medical Center is recruiting a Physician within Primary Care Service. This position requires experienced designated Women's Health Care.

Duties

Assess patient health status through exam and history, conduct screenings, and identify risks/needs. Diagnose on clinical findings, and develop treatment plan. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure the treatment plan is followed. Assess, diagnose, monitor, and promote the needs of women's health, including but not limited to: well‑woman exams, breast mass assessment, incontinence, fertility/contraception, prenatal/postpartum care.

Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student‑loan payment reimbursement program. Applicants must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit the EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000), and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services office after review of the application.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM;
Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Tour of duty will be based on the needs of the service. Additional details will be provided during the interview.
