Position Overview
The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a clinical addiction psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. This role involves leading an inpatient dual diagnosis service with opportunities for partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services. The position offers a path to academic psychiatry with a focus on clinical care, education, and research.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Practice within the established medical center standards of care, policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide inpatient dual diagnosis psychiatric care and develop partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary teams, committees, conferences, and community speaking engagements.
- Contribute to education, mentorship, and research activities within the department.
- MD or DO.
- Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine.
- Eligible for an Ohio Medical License.
