The successful candidate will be employed full-time by the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. • Provide licensed medical care in the specialty area of orthopaedic surgery, including diagnosis, surgery, pre‑ and post‑surgery care, staff education, collaboration on case management, and clinical research.
• Manage complex and sometimes unpredictable situations.
• Demonstrate competence in technical clinical and surgical skills, cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve patients receiving the above services.
• Practice within the established Medical Center and physician’s standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols), and adhere to the Intensive Caring Value Statements.
• Be subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.

• MD or DO
• Successful completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program
• Successful completion of an accredited Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Eligible for an Ohio Medical License
• State of Ohio and DEA licensure required
