Position Overview
The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a Nuclear Medicine Physician/Nuclear Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. Candidates will contribute to patient care, research, and training of graduate and postgraduate students. The position is open rank/track faculty, with academic rank and track commensurate with experience.
Duties and Responsibilities- Daytime primary coverage of imaging and therapeutic services with home call split between faculty members as primary coverage from 5pm to 8pm Tue-Mon and backup support to resident coverage from 8pm to 8am.
- Provide high‑volume diagnostic practice and manage a busy therapeutics clinic, including participation in clinically available radiopharmaceuticals and department‑sponsored clinical trials.
- Contribute to day‑to‑day clinical operations of the Nuclear Medicine Division:
- Provide high‑quality patient care related to the Nuclear Medicine Service.
- Contribute to clinical and imaging operations of the Division.
- Education, training, and faculty development:
- Conduct clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and other educational offerings nationally and regionally.
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
- Serve as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty.
- Research and scholarship:
- Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
- Serve as PI or Co‑I on grants and/or clinical trials.
- Serve on department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent research and innovation interests.
- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
- Board eligible or certified in Nuclear Medicine, or Radiology with subspecialty certification (ABNM, A , AO ).
- Completion of a subspecialty fellowship in Nuclear Medicine if no residency at time of appointment.
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Salary commensurate with experience, bonus, relocation assistance.
