The purpose of this position is to prepare and teach 48 hours of livestream/ classroom Home Inspection pre-licensing content created by Hondros Learning. Help students understand material by answering questions, leading students through virtual inactive lessons, and coaching through field experiences to help them gain field experience required by state. Instructors will also teach and lead exam prep classes to help students prepare and pass their National Home inspection exams.

Adjunct faculty occasionally assists with updating course content when needed. There may be a few additional assignments such as filming instructional content videos to enhance the online student experience.

• Instruct assigned courses according to the course plan
• Actively engage with students whether teaching in the classroom, via webinar or online. Comfortable and familiar with webinar / live streaming technology and online instruction
• Review class syllabus ensuring that it follows the designed curriculum plan and explains course requirements
• Designs and implements teaching strategies that will assist the student in meeting course objectives
• Evaluates each student’s achievement and progress
• Recommends strategies for success and tutors students to assist them in meeting course objectives
• Mentors students and tracks student performance issues
• Records students’ attendance and grades
• Participates in faculty curriculum and ad-hoc meetings

• 5 years or more experience working as a Home Inspector
• Teaching/training experience in the field of Home Inspection a plus!
• Prior experience teaching pre-license courses in the state of licensure
