Position Overview

Patriot Preparatory Academy is seeking a passionate and skilled Band Teacher to lead our middle and high school instrumental music program (grades 6-12). The ideal candidate will inspire students, foster a strong performance culture, and grow a vibrant band program that enhances school pride and community engagement.

Responsibilities

Teach middle and high school band courses
Plan engaging lessons aligned to Ohio's Learning Standards for Music
Prepare students for concerts and school performances
Differentiate instruction to meet varying skill levels
Maintain inventory, music library, and equipment
Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Support a positive, structured classroom environment
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Music Education (required)
Valid Ohio teaching license (or ability to obtain)
Experience directing ensembles preferred
Strong classroom management and organizational skills
