ResponsibilitiesThe Education Program Lead Coordinator will assist the General Chemistry Lab Supervisor with everyday chemistry needs; assist in the development, implementation, and setup of general chemistry labs; assist with the development and preparation of teaching aids including laboratory manuals, Carmen assignments and laboratory rubrics; monitor Teaching Assistant (TA) adherence to grading policies and deadlines; assist the Gen Chem Lab Supervisor and TA training coordinator with the training of graduate students, undergraduate students, and staff teaching assistants;
develop ongoing TA training materials; manage and facilitate staff meetings; assist with responding to inquiries regarding General Chemistry courses; and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
- Bachelor's Degree with a Major in chemistry or biochemistry.
- Previous teaching experience in a university setting.
$20.24 to $26.44 per hour. The offer will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
