Job Title
Student Assistant 2 – Jackson County

Position TypeTemporary (Fixed Term)
Work HoursUp to 28 hours per week while enrolled in classes; up to 38 hours during summer or academic breaks.
ScheduleVarying shifts
Responsibilities- Moderate, less routine responsibilities requiring good judgment and accountability.
- Coordinate activities for other student employees.
- Provide excellent customer service and strong organizational skills.
- Work in a professional environment with integrity, reflecting OSU mission and shared values.
- Support educational programming and community engagement in Jackson County, Ohio.
- Work directly with Extension professionals and staff addressing community-based issues.
- Support Extension programs (4‑H Youth Development and Agriculture & Natural Resources) for youth and adult audiences.
- Assist with educational materials, community-based programs, general office support, and participation in professional and public meetings.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check; a drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
