Position Overview
The Division of Anatomy at Ohio State University College of Medicine invites applications for Lecturer, Assistant or Associate Professor Rank full‑time faculty position focusing on undergraduate anatomy. Candidates should have a doctorate in Anatomy or related field and demonstrate excellence in undergraduate education, curriculum development, and pedagogy. They will teach courses in dissection, histology, embryology and/or neuroanatomy, and may contribute to other electives in the Anatomy Minor Program.
Scholars commensurate with level of development and collaborative research are expected.
- Full‑time teaching load in undergraduate anatomy lecture and laboratory courses, including curriculum development with faculty team.
- Mentor undergraduate, graduate and/or professional students in research projects.
- No clinical responsibilities.
- Doctorate in the anatomical sciences or equivalent.
- Evidence of familiarity with human dissection‑based teaching.
- Evidence of potential for successful teaching at the college/university level.
- Strong written, verbal and interprofessional skills.
- Eagerness to collaborate with colleagues, staff and administrators to improve educational experiences.
- Human laboratory instructional experience.
- Evidence of strong collaboration in education with other applied academic health sciences departments.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Ohio State offers a comprehensive benefits package to all eligible employees.
