Position SummarySt. Mary German Village is seeking a passionate and dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Catholic education, possess excellent classroom management skills, and be enthusiastic about nurturing the academic and spiritual growth of students in a faith-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with diocesan curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and faith-centered classroom environment.
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom activities.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents regularly.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student success.
- Participate in school and parish activities as appropriate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
- Valid Ohio teaching license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to Catholic teachings and values.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Experience teaching 3rd grade in a Catholic or private school setting.
- Familiarity with integrating technology into classroom instruction.

JOB GOAL:
To assist students in mastering the skills and information in the school curriculum while helping them to grow in faith and responsibility.
- Teachers in the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Columbus know, understand and contribute to the integration of Catholic teachings and virtues throughout the curriculum and school culture as it supports faith formation and student learning.
