Description:
Northridge Local Schools is anticipating seeking a dynamic and passionate Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources (AFNR) Teacher to join our high school team. The ideal candidate will inspire students through hands-on, real-world learning in areas such as agricultural science, animal and plant systems, food production, natural resource management, and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging instruction aligned with Ohio AFNR content standards
• Leading and advising FFA and other student organizations
• Coordinating SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) projects
• Maintaining the school greenhouse, garden, or lab space as applicable
• Collaborating with local agricultural partners and community stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio teaching license in Agriculture or CTE - AFNR
• Experience in agriculture education and/or industry preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
