Schedule
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Compensation$40-$50/hour
Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist for a full-time position in Westerville, OH during the school year. This role involves teaching a 6th-8th grade classroom with approximately 8 students who have behavioral disabilities.
As an Intervention Specialist, you will:
- Provide students with learning activities and experiences tailored to their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
- Develop or modify curriculum and instructional materials to match student ability levels.
- Deliver direct support services to students with behavioral disabilities.
Required:
- Prior teaching experience.
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or special education.
- Valid Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist License in Ohio.
Preferred:
- Additional experience working with students with behavioral disabilities.
Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Mild/Moderate Intervention Specialist License.
Disqualifiers- Applicants without an Intervention Specialist License.
