The Charles School at Ohio Dominican University is looking for a High School Career-Tech Education Teacher for the  school year. TCS@ODU focuses on preparing urban students in Central Ohio for lifelong learning and informed citizenship through early college exposure in a supportive environment.

• Teach a full course load of Career and Technical Education courses (six 47‑minute periods with one prep period daily).
• Develop curriculum, syllabus, grading expectations, course sequences, and course details in collaboration with building leadership, department, and counseling teams.
• Create a caring and nurturing classroom environment where all students can contribute, learn, express questions, and deepen their growth.
• Follow building guidance regarding parental communication, classroom management norms, and PBIS expectations.
• Write, implement, and evaluate Crew lessons with grade‑level teams, ensuring the school's mission, vision, and core values are reflected.
• Assist with additional school responsibilities as directed by building leadership (shared across the instructional team).
• Utilize digital platforms for communication with stakeholders, student grading, and instructional support.

• Minimum:
  Bachelor’s Degree.
• Valid Ohio educator license related to the teaching area.
• Pass BCI and FBI background check.
• Pass Educator Licensure Conduct Review.
