Position: Kindergarten Screening Assessor
Dates: August 4-5, 2026
Hours: 8:00 a.m.
- 4:30 p.m. (maximum each day)
Rate of Pay: Timesheet required, paid at Summer Academy rate of $43.47 per hour in accordance with the current Memorandum of Agreement.
Position Type: Full-time
Responsibilities- Assist with the administration of kindergarten screening assessments for incoming kindergarten students.
- Conduct and document student observations during screening activities.
- Support the collection and organization of assessment data to inform class placement.
- Collaborate with screening team members to ensure a positive, welcoming, and efficient screening experience for students and families.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student information and assessment results.
- Complete other screening-related duties as assigned.
- Valid teaching license preferred.
- Experience working with young children.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

- Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue.
- Occasional interaction among unruly children.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull various items up to a maximum of 25 pounds, e.g., paper boxes, deliveries of supplies and equipment.
- Frequently move and position oneself as necessary to access and operate equipment.
- Frequently move around the workspace and travel throughout the school building and/or the school district.
Employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non‑prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment with the District.
