Student Assistant 2 - Waterman, Communications
ResponsibilitiesWill be moderate and less routine, requiring responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in a student assistant role. Represents the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.
Job DescriptionAssist in performing communication and outreach efforts at Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory. Student assistants fill a necessary role for CFAES to deliver its research, extension, and teaching mission. Responsibilities include website edits, photography, social media, data entry, creating informational signage and flyers, leading tours, preparing for events and extension programs or teaching labs.
Hours & ScheduleCan be either part time or full time. During the summer, up to 38 hours a week, more likely 20-30 hours per week. During the school year, 10-20 hours per week. Scheduled
Hours:
20. Shift: First Shift.
Start April or May 2026, with employment planned through end of Summer (August 2026). Can be extended until the student graduates from undergraduate.
