OverviewThe School of Music, within the College of Arts and Sciences, invites hundreds of student musicians each summer to participate in programs designed to further their skills and love for music. Faculty craft diverse and rich activities that provide each student with a meaningful musical experience.
Responsibilities- Assist camp directors with music rehearsals, group work, and sectional coaching.
- Help with attendance, student movement (in the School of Music and across campus), camp programming, and curriculum design.
- Assist with student attendance, camper drop‑off, and pick‑up.
High School Diploma or equivalent and four or more years of relevant experience in music teaching.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, instructors, and community partners.
Knowledge of music education pedagogy, curriculum development, and assessment.
Additional InformationFinal candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
