Assistant Director of Regional Campus Academic Recruitment Strategies
Reporting to the Director of Regional Campus Recruitment Strategies and Initiatives, the Assistant Director leads programming and activities that promote recruiting and yielding students to academic programs across the four regional campuses. The role coordinates visits and outreach to schools and community organizations, collaborates with campus Strategic Enrollment Management and enrollment directors, and partners with faculty, students, and community partners to articulate the value of targeted disciplines.
Key responsibilities include traveling to high schools, community colleges, and college fairs; organizing on-campus and off-campus recruitment programs; conducting outreach campaigns and recruitment calls; learning and using the CRM (Salesforce), Student Information System, and related technologies; and supporting day-to-day admissions office activities such as counseling, correspondence, presentations, and recruitment events.
Additional responsibilities comprise advising families and stakeholders on enrollment policies; resolving issues in a timely manner; assisting with College Credit Plus recruitment; participating in committees; and completing special assignments as assigned.
Education and ExperienceRequired:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate
- Program development, planning, and implementation experience
- Some early morning, evening, and weekend hours required
Desired:
- Work experience at school/college/university admissions preferred
- 4–8 years of admissions or related experience
- Knowledge of data interpretation
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Peoplesoft
Salary range for this position is $55,700–$62,000. The offer will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit budget, and the candidate’s qualifications.
