ACCEL Schools is hiring a highly qualified Technology Teacher at South Columbus Preparatory Academy in German Village, Columbus, Ohio. The school serves students from EK‑8th grade on a renovated, historic campus and emphasizes hands‑on learning and character education.

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans and modify them as needed throughout the school year.
• Differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of student progress and development.
• Use research‑based best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Use school‑approved curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of students.
• Implement school‑wide cultural expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families about academic and social‑emotional growth.
• Incorporate technology skills into daily classroom practice.
• Participate in non‑instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Active and current Ohio teaching license in an appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• Comfortable working in a growth‑focused coaching environment with frequent observations and action planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information properly.
• Ability to supervise students across various school settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.).
• Pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

• Salary range: $40,000 – $49,500. Pay may vary based on geography, skills, education, experience, and qualifications.
