Position Title

Faculty – Translational Biomedical Imaging Research (Associate Professor or Full Professor)

The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek faculty in translational biomedical imaging research. Senior faculty appointments require a minimum of 50% salary support from external funding sources and are open at the associate or full professor level.

• Develop and lead an independent research program in translational biomedical imaging.
• Secure grant funding and manage research budgets.
• Mentor trainees and collaborate with investigators across the College of Medicine and university.
• Translational research in MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience.

• Ph.D. or terminal degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
• Established history of research accomplishment and grant funding with active grants.
• Active research interests in translational MRI and/or molecular imaging in neuroscience.
• Eligibility for tenure or tenure‑track status (associate or full professor).
