Position Summary

The Program Manager serves as the primary operational, administrative, and programmatic manager for the ASPIRE medical research program, a 10‑week immersive research program for undergraduate students within the Physician Scientist Education and Training office.

Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full student lifecycle—including recruitment, admissions, enrollment, program progression, academic and career advising, developmental support, and program completion—to ensure a cohesive, high‑quality learner experience and strong matriculation outcomes.
  • Partner closely with the Faculty Director of ASPIRE, the Associate Director of the Medical Scientist Training Program, and the Director of the PSET office to align recruitment processes, curriculum delivery, support services, and student development programming with the program’s mission.
  • Engage in student‑centered program coordination, data‑informed decision‑making, and proactive problem‑solving to advance a supportive learning environment for current and former ASPIRE participants.
  • Support PSET networking, community building, and faculty mentorship training, including faculty mentorship development, networking and community‑building activities across PSET programs, and management of initiatives such as CONNECTOME and related engagement opportunities.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Four years of relevant experience required; four to eight years preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

Strong leadership, operational planning, internal and external stakeholder engagement, administrative management skills, and excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational agility.

Additional Information
