Job Description:

This position involves assisting students in the completion of classroom activities, supporting the Intervention Specialist in various classroom and school activities, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience working with children is preferred.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Compliance with federal legislation requirements
• Good human relations and communication skills
• Neat appearance
• Experience working with children preferred

Performance Responsibilities:

• Assist students in classroom activities
• Support Intervention Specialist in classroom and school activities
• Prepare classroom materials and student accommodations
• Assist Special Education students in regular education classes
• Maintain a good learning environment
• Assist with personal health care needs of students
• Participate in professional growth activities
• Ensure student safety
• Establish cooperative professional relationships
• Exhibit professional behavior and judgment
• Maintain confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Terms of Employment:
Substitute

Salary: $18.50 per hour
