The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking a dedicated and experienced Instructor of Practice to join our faculty. The successful candidate will teach and mentor students, contribute to service activities, and support curriculum development within the health sciences program.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching:
Deliver high-quality instruction in a variety of health sciences courses. Develop and implement engaging teaching strategies to enhance student learning and success. - Mentorship:
Provide academic and professional mentorship to students, advising them in their academic and career development. - Service:
Participate in committees, attend faculty meetings, and engage in other service activities. Represent the School in professional organizations. - Curriculum Development:
Assist in the development and revision of curriculum to meet evolving professional needs and accreditation standards.
- Degree:
Master’s degree in a health sciences‑related field. - Desired fields/majors:
Aging, Healthcare Management & Policy, Human Resources, Nutrition, Ethics, Integrative Health and Wellness, Health Promotion, Medical Terminology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Research Methods, Scientific Writing. - Commitment to student success and academic excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
