The Department of Finance at The Ohio State University's Max M. Fisher College of Business invites applications for a full-time Lecturer. We seek candidates with expertise in all areas of corporate finance and teaching with Excel applications; behavioral finance; investments; and asset management. A strong preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach a broad spectrum of corporate finance courses across both undergraduate and graduate levels.

The appointment is expected to begin in Autumn 2026.

The main tasks will include: teaching in different modalities (in-class, online, hybrid) throughout the academic year, curriculum/syllabus design, content and materials development, and service activities. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to complete activities and support for developing and teaching undergraduate and/or graduate students, depending on chosen candidate's degree certification.

All courses are taught in person on the University's main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Performance objectives include presenting course material and guiding students through assignments, creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment, demonstrated commitment to student success, and collaboration with fellow instructors.

Education and experience requirements include a master's degree in finance or a related field of study, demonstrated teaching experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively engage with students in both traditional and online learning environments, and ability to collaborate with fellow instructors, graduate teaching associates, and undergraduate teaching assistants.

Desired qualifications include business experience in finance and teaching finance courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
