Lecturer

Associated Faculty in Art will teach Art 2555, Photography I, which is a studio-based art course. Must be able to teach fundamental digital camera techniques and explore contemporary and historical issues in photography. Must be able to apply written, oral, and visual communication skills and interpret and grade student work. One course in autumn 2026 and one course in spring 2027.

Performance Objectives

Help students achieve the following goals:

  • Develop fundamental digital camera techniques.
  • Explore contemporary and historical issues in photography.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required:

MFA in Fine Art, teaching experience in teaching photography to undergraduate students.
