- Deliver high‑quality instruction in assigned undergraduate Biology courses (lecture and/or laboratory)
- Prepare course materials, assessments, and syllabi aligned with departmental standards
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students
- Maintain regular communication and hold office hours (in‑person or virtual) to support student learning
- Foster a supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff as needed to support student learning and ensure curriculum alignment across sections.
- Master’s degree in biology‑related discipline or a closely related field
- Demonstrated ability or strong potential to teach undergraduate students effectively
- Commitment to pedagogy and supporting diverse learners
- Ph.D. in a biology‑related discipline
- Prior experience teaching biology, anatomy, or related courses at the college level.
- Familiarity with active‑learning or student‑centered instructional approaches
- Experience teaching or mentoring first‑generation, non‑traditional, or pre‑health students
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMs) like Canvas or Blackboard
- Small class sizes and strong student‑faculty engagement
