• Perform duties and responsibilities of FAA Assistant Chief Flight Instructor per FAA Regulations Part 141.
• Assist the Chief Flight Instructor in administration of Flight Education.
• Supervise Flight Instructors.
• Develop and monitor flight safety programs.
• Provide flight and classroom instruction.
• Conduct stage checks, progress checks, and final flight tests.
• Provide initial and annual standardization oral and practical checks for Flight Instructors.
• Ensure instruction quality and student progress/completion, including exams and check-rides.
• Coordinate and schedule personnel and aircraft.
• Maintain on‑call availability for emergencies during all operational hours of the Flight School.
• Adhere to alternating schedule with other Assistant Chief and Chief Flight Instructors.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Meets qualifications for FAA Part 141 Assistant Chief Flight Instructor.
• Instructional activity within the previous 24 months.
• Experience with a flight school certified through 14 FR Part 141.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Salary Range: $55,700 – $72,700 (based on education, experience, and internal equity).

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check; a drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
