Assistant Professor – Hematology Faculty

Medicine | Internal Medicine – Division of Hematology

Assistant Professor responsible for pioneering research in hematology, securing external funding, supervising laboratory staff, and contributing to the academic mission of the division and department.

• Develop and conduct research projects in hematology.
• Seek and obtain extramural research funding.
• Supervise laboratory staff and graduate/undergraduate students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, teaching, and clinical commitments as required.

• PhD or equivalent in a related field.
• Established record or strong evidence of ability to secure extramural funding and conduct a productive scholarship program in medical laboratory science or related discipline.
• Experience mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
• Eligibility for tenure or tenure‑track appointment.

Regular position, shift:
First Shift, 40 scheduled hours per week.
