Position OverviewAssistant Professor responsible for pioneering research in hematology, securing external funding, supervising laboratory staff, and contributing to the academic mission of the division and department.
Responsibilities- Develop and conduct research projects in hematology.
- Seek and obtain extramural research funding.
- Supervise laboratory staff and graduate/undergraduate students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, teaching, and clinical commitments as required.
- PhD or equivalent in a related field.
- Established record or strong evidence of ability to secure extramural funding and conduct a productive scholarship program in medical laboratory science or related discipline.
- Experience mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
- Eligibility for tenure or tenure‑track appointment.

Employment DetailsRegular position, shift:
First Shift, 40 scheduled hours per week.
