The School of Music seeks a Lecturer to teach Music 3310 and Music Opera Production in Autumn 2026. In addition to teaching, the Lecturer prepares syllabi and course materials for assigned courses, holds office hours, grades assignments and submits grades by deadlines, and communicates regularly with students.

• Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning
• Meet scheduled classes and office hours in accordance with university policy
• Ensure curriculum implementation and course preparation in accordance with department standards
• Prepare homework and exams, evaluate, and return student work in a timely manner to promote learning
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and submit final grade roster in accordance with established university deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality of student information in accordance with FERPA
