Job SummarySeeking a 100% FTE, 9/12 lecturer to teach mathematics courses in the academic year. Responsible for facilitating in‑class learning activities, assigning and grading assessments (e.g., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering weekly office hours, submitting grades, and resolving any ongoing student or course issues. May participate in professional development.
Performance Objectives- Develop and deliver courses in an in‑person format.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.
- Required: Master’s degree. Teaching experience at the post‑secondary level at a regional campus, including university students at a pre‑college skill level.
- Desired: Familiarity with the Ohio State University’s Mathematics department courses and curriculum.
The budget for this position is $50,000. The offer will be based on internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications.
