Art Teacher

As an Art Teacher at Harambee Christian School, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of inner‑city youth. You will work in a Christ‑centered environment, providing education and support to K-8 students as they navigate their academic journey.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the holistic development of each student
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and stay current with educational trends

• Bachelor's degree in Education (preferred) or related field
• Strong understanding of elementary education principles and best practices
• Moral and spiritual requirements of deacons as outlined in 1 Timothy 3
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity
• Passion for working with inner‑city youth and helping them succeed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
