Job Overview
Lecturer to teach or support courses in the Histotechnology Certificate program, Introductory courses in Anatomic Pathology, or other courses as appointed. Coordinates and teaches all practical courses and other clinical courses, develops course content, supervises and evaluates practice sessions, recruits and retains students, evaluates written and practical work, grades student work, ensures compliance standards, and manages admission/application process and recruitment activities for the program.
Responsibilities- Course development, updates, practice session design and supervision, student evaluations and grading, grade submissions (85%).
- Student administration including recruitment, applications/registration processes for courses (10%).
- Other duties as assigned (5%).
- Master’s degree or equivalent related experience and education.
- 10 years experience in the histotechnology field.
- ASCP certification (HT/HTL/QIHC/MTetc.).
