Lecturer to teach or support courses in the Histotechnology Certificate program, Introductory courses in Anatomic Pathology, or other courses as appointed. Remaining responsibilities will be in the coordination of supervised practice for the Histotechnology programs. As such, the candidate coordinates and teaches all practical courses and other clinical courses as assigned. This will involve, but is not limited to the development of course content;
supervision/evaluation of practice sessions; recruitment and retention of students; evaluates student written work and assignments; evaluates students practical work, grades student work and submits grades; ensures compliance standards for students. Will also manage the admission/application process and recruitment activities for the program.
Masters degree or equivalent related experience and education, 10 years experience in the histotechnology field, ASCP certification (HT/HTL/QIHC/MTetc.).
Responsibility - 85%
Course development/updates, practice session design and supervision, student evaluations and grading, grade submissions
Responsibility - 10%
Student Administration including recruitment, applications/registration processes for courses
Responsibility - 5%
Other duties as assigned

The program is fully accredited in anatomic and clinical pathology. The department’s is to build an academic pathology program recognized as a local, regional and national leader in high quality diagnostics, research and education.
