We seek candidates who are committed to developing a leading research program in Operations Management and who have the potential to become internationally recognized scholars in the field. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's research excellence and teaching mission through high-quality scholarship, impactful teaching, and active engagement with students and faculty colleagues.

Immigration/visa sponsorship may be available in very limited situations (e.g., F1/OPT to H-1b, H-1b change of employer), but all decisions concerning immigration/visa sponsorship will depend on an evaluation of complexity and risk.

Performance Objectives:

  • Effectively teach a core Operations Management course and related courses across undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA, specialized master's, and Ph.D. programs.
  • Effectively collaborate with faculty colleagues in research, curriculum development, departmental, and college initiatives, as requested.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Candidates are required to hold or be near completion of an earned doctorate in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field by the start date of employment.
  • Evidence of a strong research trajectory, including current working papers and/or published research in Operations Management (including domains such as Supply Chain Management, Service Operations, Project Management, etc.).
  • Potential for excellence in scholarly research and publication.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication skills and/or success in classroom teaching.
  • Willingness to assist in developing and improving our core Operations Management courses and/or an elective related to research.
  • Ability to contribute positively to a collegial and collaborative academic environment.

Assistant Professors in the department currently have a base salary between $190,000-$210,000 depending on time in rank, performance, etc. The offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications.
