About the Position

The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking a dedicated and experienced Instructor of Practice to join our faculty. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in teaching and mentoring within our health sciences program.

Teaching:
Deliver high-quality instruction in a variety of courses within the health sciences program and develop engaging teaching strategies to enhance student learning.

Mentorship:
Provide academic and professional mentorship to students in their academic and career development through advising and guidance.

Service:
Participate in committees, attend faculty meetings, and engage in professional organizations; represent the School in appropriate professional organizations.

Curriculum Development:
Assist in the development and revision of curriculum to keep pace with evolving needs of the profession and to align with accreditation standards.

Degree:
Masters in a health sciences‑related field.

• Aging, Healthcare Management & Policy, Human Resources and Management, Nutrition, Ethics, Integrative Health and Wellness, Health Promotion, Medical Terminology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Research Methods, or Scientific Writing.

• Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.

Evidence of strong teaching ability (including distance/online). Ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate students. Successful completion of a background check. Qualified candidate may be requested to complete a pre‑employment physical and drug screening.
