Afternoon School-Age Teacher

Enchanted Care is seeking an Afternoon School-Age Teacher to lead engaging, safe after-school experiences for children in our Ohio learning center. In this role, you'll supervise school-age students, support homework and academic enrichment, and plan developmentally appropriate activities that foster social skills, creativity, and confidence. You'll communicate regularly with parents, uphold all safety and licensing standards, and collaborate with teammates to maintain an organized, nurturing classroom.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure safety of school-age children during afternoon hours
• Plan and lead developmentally appropriate academic and enrichment activities
• Support homework help and academic readiness skills
• Promote positive social interaction, behavior, and conflict resolution
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians
• Follow all state licensing, health, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with center staff to support school-age programs and events
• Document attendance, incidents, and child progress as required
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
