Position OverviewThe Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University (OSU) is seeking experienced candidates for tenure‑track faculty positions in translational biomedical imaging research at the rank of associate or full professor. The position requires a minimum of 50% salary support from external funding sources. Candidates will advance translational research in MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience, contribute to education, and promote inclusive excellence.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Develop and lead an independent research program translating novel imaging technologies and methodologies into clinical practice.
- Secure grant funding and maintain a history of active, competitive grants.
- Mentor trainees and collaborate with investigators across the College of Medicine and the university.
- Participate in institutional efforts that span research, service, and teaching.
- Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
- Established record of research accomplishment and grant funding, with active grants.
- Active research interests in translational MRI and/or molecular imaging applications in neuroscience.
- Eligibility for tenure or attainment of tenure.
- For senior‑level appointments, a qualified record of teaching, service, and research is required.
