Lecturer

The Semester Lecturer will be responsible for teaching CONSYSM 2310 – Electrical and Lighting Systems for Buildings (3 credit hours) and all associated instructional duties for the duration of the appointment. Responsibilities include classroom and/or laboratory instruction, student advising during office hours, grading, course preparation, supervision of Undergraduate Teaching Assistants (UTAs), development of e-learning content, participation in departmental meetings, and support of teaching evaluations and accreditation assessment activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Systems, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and lighting systems for buildings.
• Effective communication and instructional skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• College-level teaching experience.
• Industry experience in construction, building systems, or electrical systems.
• Experience with online learning platforms and course development.
