The Assistant Teacher reports directly to the Director, Dahlberg Gibson Learning Center and is a key member of the education team. Assists the Intervention Specialist in following the student Individualized Education Plans (IEP)/Individual Family Service Plans (IFSP) and planning activities that support the same. Assists in the provision of a consistently safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment.

    Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm during the school year
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood or CDA required. Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with young children preferred.
  • American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR and First Aid certifications required within first 30 days in role.
  • Must have Medication Administration Certification or able to obtain it within 60 days required.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's license with less than 6 points and proof of auto insurance required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, Office
    365, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required.
  • Ability to travel within the state of Ohio required. Overnight travel may be required.
