Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality instruction in manufacturing engineering topics within mechanical and integrated systems engineering programs
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate students through academic and professional development
- Engage in meaningful scholarly activities related to manufacturing education and practice
- Contribute to curriculum enhancement and development of new courses
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
- Establish collaborative relationships with industrial partners and academic colleagues
- Doctoral degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Mechanical Engineering, Integrated Systems Engineering, or closely related field
- Demonstrated record of scholarly impact in manufacturing engineering education or practice
- Proven leadership capabilities and collaborative experience in professional or academic settings
- Advanced teaching and mentoring skills with curriculum development experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capacity for independent initiative and innovative thinking
- Experience in automotive manufacturing or related industrial sectors
- Evidence of broad impact in manufacturing education and research
- Record of successful project funding acquisition
- Demonstrated commitment to university community engagement
- Experience with interdisciplinary collaborative projects
- History of productive partnerships with industry and academic institutions
- Full-time professional practice faculty appointment
